Established in 1994 and officially registered in 1998 in Helsinki, Finland. PUNTLAND COMMUNITY RY (PC ry) is a non-governmental, non-profit, international organization focused on civil society issues. The organization is dedicated to providing job and educational opportunities to its members, empowering communities, and fostering sustainable development in Finland, Europe, and Africa.

 Mission

The mission of PC ry is to support the social, educational, vocational, and character development of individuals, particularly youth and migrants, through structured and impactful activities. These include:

• Offering long- and short-term educational courses.
• Providing homework support programs for academic success.
• Organizing field trips and sports activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
• Delivering relief aid and facilitating development cooperation, especially in African regions.

Objectives

1. Social Inclusion of Migrant Women:

– Support migrant women in becoming agents of positive change within their local communities and the broader European society.

2. Capacity Building for Educators:

– Enhance the professional and personal competencies of adult educators working with diverse communities.

3. Development of Digital Learning Resources:

– Create, test, and disseminate innovative E-Book materials designed for learning and training purposes, particularly for educators and migrant women learners.

– Develop a comprehensive digital database of stakeholders working with migrant women to facilitate future collaboration and cooperation.

– Enrich networks of adult education providers across Europe to promote knowledge exchange and innovation.

– Defend and promote the rights and interests of immigrants and their descendants to ensure their full integration and inclusion in society.

– Advocate for actions to prevent or halt racial discrimination by public or private entities.
